Project: RNLI Ilfracombe
Installed: November 2015
System : 10kW Kensa ground source heat pump connected to 2 vertical 100m boreholes, closed loop system
The RNLI specified a low temperature hot water system to service the low temperature radiators within the occupied areas of the redeveloped Lifeboat station.
The purpose of the ground source heat pump was to provide background heating to the building at 15°C, to be boosted by electric panel heaters when required.
